Where the lake teaches you to slow down
A lakeside massage room, a wood-fired sauna, and two swimming docks nestled among tropical gardens between San Marcos La Laguna and Tzununá.
Wellness at Pasajcap isn’t about following a programme. It grows naturally from life by the lake. A morning swim. A walk through the gardens. An afternoon in the sauna. A massage when your body asks for one. Days unfold quietly here, without schedules or expectations.
Lakeside massage
Our massage room sits just a few steps from the water, where the lake provides a peaceful backdrop throughout your treatment.
Appointments are arranged individually, making it easy to fit a massage into your day whenever it feels right.
Whether you’ve spent the morning hiking, working, or simply reading in the garden, it’s a gentle way to end the day.
Swimming & the Docks
Two wooden docks extend into the lake.
One is perfect for a morning swim. The other is a favourite place to stretch out in the sun with a book or simply watch the changing light on the water.
The lake is deep, clear, and wonderfully refreshing throughout the year. Many guests begin their day with a swim before breakfast. Others return in the afternoon, when the breeze drifts across the bay and the water invites one more dip.
There is no timetable here.
Some days the dock is your morning routine.
Some days it’s where you end the day, watching the last light settle over the volcanoes.
Wood-fired sauna
Our traditional wood-fired sauna is heated slowly, filling the room with gentle warmth and the scent of natural herbs and essential oils.
Many guests enjoy a swim in the lake before stepping inside. The contrast between cool water and warm steam leaves both body and mind feeling refreshed.
Spaces to Unwind
Every home at Pasajcap opens onto its own private outdoor space. A garden, a terrace, a shaded palapa, or a wooden platform creates a natural place to begin the day with yoga, meditation, stretching, journaling, or simply a cup of coffee overlooking the lake.
Beyond your own garden, you’ll find many more places to pause. A palapa by the lakeshore. The lawn stretching down to the water. A quiet spot on the dock as the morning light reaches the volcanoes.
Just along the shore, San Marcos La Laguna has become one of Central America’s best-known destinations for yoga, meditation, and holistic wellbeing. Studios, workshops, and experienced practitioners are only a short walk or boat ride away.
Whether you join a morning class or simply enjoy the quiet of your own garden, it’s easy to settle into a rhythm that feels natural.
Come and live by the lake.
