Camp a Little Longer
A peaceful lakeside campground with powered sites, hot showers, and room for everything from tents to fully equipped expedition vehicles.
Long before Pasajcap became a place to stay, these terraced gardens were a coffee plantation. Today they offer something different: a peaceful base for travellers who prefer nature over parking lots and mornings by the lake over crowded campgrounds. Whether you arrive with a tent, a motorcycle, a campervan, or a fully equipped overland vehicle, you’ll find space to settle in beneath the trees, surrounded by gardens and overlooking Lake Atitlán’s three volcanoes. It is the kind of place where one night easily becomes three.
What’s here
Everything you need for a comfortable stay, without losing the feeling of camping.
• Level camping sites for tents, campervans, motorhomes, and expedition vehicles.
• Electricity, fresh water, and lighting
• Hot showers and clean bathrooms
• Laundry and dishwashing facilities
• Covered communal area with BBQ
• Private swimming dock with direct lake access
• Two hectares of peaceful lakeside gardens
• Secure gated property with on-site staff
For overlanders
Lake Atitlán has become a favorite stop for travellers exploring Central America by road. Pasajcap offers a safe, comfortable place to pause before continuing the journey.
Wash the dust from the road. Catch up on laundry. Share a meal. Swim before breakfast. Work online beneath the trees or simply enjoy a few unhurried days by the lake.
Many guests leave feeling more rested than they expected.
Easy to reach
Unlike much of the northern shore of Lake Atitlán, Pasajcap is accessible by road as well as by boat.
We welcome everything from tents and motorcycles to campervans, motorhomes, and expedition vehicles. Because we intentionally keep the camping area small, spaces are limited and advance reservations are recommended.
Whether you’re travelling with your own vehicle or arriving from Guatemala City or Antigua, we’re happy to help you plan the easiest route to Pasajcap.
