— House Calafate · Why you'll feel at home

Some homes invite you inside. Calafate invites the landscape in.

Behind a private garden gate, floor-to-ceiling glass fills the house with light while the lake and volcanoes become part of everyday life. Open-plan living, thoughtful craftsmanship, and generous outdoor spaces make this a home where work, rest, and slow afternoons find their own natural rhythm.

01 · Sleep

A bedroom that opens to the day

A king-size orthopedic bed, handcrafted white mahogany furnishings, and a generous built-in wardrobe create a calm place to begin and end the day. Louvered doors let you open the room completely to the living space, or close them whenever you want a little more privacy.

02 · Flex

A home that works around you

A built-in desk beside the bedroom, a breakfast bar overlooking the kitchen, and a dining table with lake views offer different places to settle throughout the day. Work when inspiration strikes, read where the light feels best, or simply follow the view from one corner to the next.

03 · Gather

A kitchen that keeps everyone together

A handcrafted red-cedar breakfast bar seats five while the dining table welcomes six. A six-burner stove, generous worktops, and everything needed for everyday cooking make shared meals feel easy, whether you're preparing breakfast for two or dinner with friends.

04 · Unwind

A fireplace beside the view

An L-shaped sofa gathers around the open fireplace while a second cushioned seating nook catches the afternoon light. With floor-to-ceiling glass stretching across the front of the house, the changing lake becomes part of every quiet evening.

05 · Linger

A terrace that follows the sun

The covered terrace wraps around the house, offering two hammocks, loungers, a dining table, and a quiet garden bordered by flowering plants and trees. Some mornings begin here with coffee. Others finish here long after sunset.

06 · Float

A bath with nowhere to rush

An oval bathtub, twin basins, and a large lake-facing window fill the bathroom with natural light. It is a place to linger after a swim, a hike, or simply another peaceful day at home.
